Little Pickles

Each plant reaches a mature width of about 12 inches. You should space them roughly a foot apart if you are planting them as a groundcover to allow for their natural spreading habit.

Little Pickles thrive in containers. Because they are drought-tolerant and have a compact, upright growth habit, they are excellent for pots, rock gardens, or hanging baskets as long as the container has good drainage.

Little Pickles prefer low humidity environments. As a succulent, it is best suited for dry, well-draining conditions and may struggle in regions with consistently high humidity or heavy rainfall.

This is a waterwise plant that requires low watering frequency. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, as it is highly drought-tolerant and prone to rot if kept in consistently soggy soil.

Little Pickles are rated for hardiness zone 9a. If you live in a colder climate, you should treat this as a seasonal plant or keep it in a container that can be brought indoors during freezing temperatures.

It does not require frequent pruning, but it does tolerate it well. You can lightly prune the plant if you want to tidy up its appearance or encourage a more compact growth habit.
