At 195 lbs, this birdbath is exceptionally stable and unlikely to tip over during high winds or heavy storms. Its pedestal design provides a solid, grounded base, though we recommend placing it on a level, firm surface like a patio paver or compacted gravel to ensure long-term stability.

The Antique Stain finish is designed to weather naturally over time, developing a unique patina. To keep it clean, simply rinse the basin with a garden hose and use a soft brush to remove any algae or debris buildup.

Not at all. The unit consists of two pieces—the pedestal and the basin—that are designed to stack securely. Because of the substantial weight, we recommend having two people present to safely position the basin onto the pedestal.

Concrete is porous and can absorb water, which expands when frozen and may cause cracks. In climates with hard freezes, we recommend draining the basin and covering it, or moving it to a garage or shed for the winter months to protect the integrity of the material.

The basin is designed with a gentle slope, making it accessible for a wide variety of bird species. The depth is shallow enough for smaller birds to bathe comfortably while still providing enough volume for larger visitors to drink.
