Pollinator Seed Packet

These seeds are curated by Michigan Wildflower Farm and consist of native species suited for the local ecosystem. While they are designed to support regional pollinators, we recommend checking your local hardiness zone to ensure they will thrive in your specific soil and climate conditions.

Each packet contains enough seed to cover approximately 60 square feet. For best results, ensure the soil is cleared of competing weeds before sowing.

Native wildflower seeds generally perform best when sown in the fall or early spring. Fall planting allows the seeds to undergo a natural period of cold stratification, which often improves germination rates once the ground warms.

Once established, native wildflowers are generally low-maintenance and drought-tolerant. They require minimal intervention, though keeping the area free of invasive weeds during the first growing season will help the native plants take hold.

A portion of the proceeds from every packet sold is donated to the 'Saving Birds Through Habitat' organization. This funding directly supports their mission to protect and restore the native environments necessary for bird survival.
