Cafelat Tamper

This tamper is designed for precision baskets that require a 58.5mm diameter. It is ideal for high-end precision filter baskets like VST or IMS, but may be too large for standard stock baskets that typically require a 58mm tamper.

To preserve the wood's natural finish, avoid soaking the handle in water or placing it in the dishwasher. Simply wipe the handle clean with a damp cloth and dry it immediately; you can occasionally apply a food-safe wood oil to maintain its luster.

The Cafelat Zebra Wood Tamper features a perfectly flat stainless steel base. This design is preferred for achieving an even, level puck, which helps prevent channeling during extraction.

At 292g, this tamper provides a substantial, balanced feel that helps you apply consistent pressure without needing to exert excessive force. The weight is distributed to ensure the base remains stable and level while you tamp.
