This kit is designed to create an 11' x 16' ecosystem pond. It reaches a maximum depth of 24 inches, which is ideal for maintaining a balanced environment for plants and fish.

This is a comprehensive kit that includes the essential mechanical and biological filtration, the pump, the liner, underlayment, plumbing, and LED lighting. You will need to source your own decorative rocks, gravel, and aquatic plants to complete the ecosystem.

The included automatic dosing system takes the guesswork out of water maintenance by precisely dispensing water treatments at set intervals. This helps maintain optimal water clarity and quality without you needing to manually add chemicals daily.

You can choose between an adjustable flow pump that connects to the Aquascape Smart Control App, allowing you to change flow rates from your phone, or a robust solids-handling pump designed for heavy-duty debris management. Choose the smart pump if you want convenience and customization, or the solids-handling pump if you expect higher debris loads.

While the ecosystem pond design is intended to support a healthy environment for fish and plants, this specific kit is not rated as wildlife-safe for larger animals. Always ensure your pond installation follows local safety codes if you have small children or pets in the area.

This kit is categorized as requiring moderate maintenance. While the skimmer and BioFalls filter handle the bulk of the mechanical and biological cleaning, you will still need to periodically clear debris from the skimmer basket and monitor the water treatment levels.
