These cups are compatible with all current Kinu M47 models, including the M47 Classic and M47 Simplicity. For M47 Phoenix owners, please note that these cups are only compatible with units manufactured after June 2020.

The O-ring version uses a silicone seal for a friction-based fit, while the magnetic versions utilize 11 integrated magnets for a quicker, more tactile attachment. Both styles provide a secure connection to the grinder body, but the magnetic versions are generally easier to attach and detach during a busy workflow.

The primary difference is weight and feel. The stainless steel version is the heaviest at 187g, providing a premium, solid heft, while the aluminium versions are lighter and more nimble. All materials are highly durable and easy to clean, ensuring no residual coffee oils build up over time.

The catch cup has a capacity of 40–50 grams of ground coffee. This is more than sufficient for any standard single or double dose, even for larger brewing methods like a French press or Chemex.

Yes, the smooth interior surfaces of both the aluminium and stainless steel models prevent coffee grounds from sticking. A quick wipe or a rinse with warm water is typically all that is needed to keep the cup clean.
