Due to its native Borneo habitat, the Begonia julau thrives in humidity levels between 70% and 90%. While it may survive in an open room with a humidifier, it will perform significantly better and maintain its signature iridescent sheen in a terrarium or glass cabinet.

This plant requires bright, indirect light to thrive and display its unique iridescent sheen. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate, fuzzy leaves, and aim for a spot with consistent, filtered brightness.
