This baffle is compatible with round poles ranging from 1/2 inch to 1 inch in diameter and square poles from 7/16 inch to 5/8 inch. Please measure your pole diameter before purchasing to ensure a proper fit with the included metal collar.

For the best results, mount the baffle at least four feet from the ground. This height is critical to prevent squirrels from jumping over or reaching around the shield.

Not at all. The baffle features a wraparound, break-apart design that allows you to install it without taking down your bird feeder. All necessary hardware and the metal mounting collar are included in the box.

Plastic collars are prone to cracking or slipping over time, especially under the weight of a baffle or in extreme weather. The all-metal collar included with this model provides a secure, durable grip that won't fail or degrade.

The copper tint is a finish, not raw copper, so it is designed to be low-maintenance. You can simply wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth if it gets dirty or dusty.

While this baffle effectively blocks squirrels climbing up the pole, it cannot stop them from jumping from above. We recommend placing your feeder at least 8 to 10 feet away from trees, fences, or other structures to ensure squirrels cannot leap onto the feeder from the side or top.
