It needs bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the delicate, velvety leaves, but ensure it receives enough light to maintain the vibrant silver and green mottling.

Since it arrives wrapped in moist sphagnum moss, you can either pot it directly into a well-draining, airy substrate or keep it in the moss until you see active root growth. Ensure it stays in a high-humidity environment immediately after unboxing to help it acclimate.

It is best suited for intermediate collectors or those familiar with terrarium plants. Because it has specific humidity and moisture requirements, it requires a bit more attention than a standard houseplant, though it is rewarding for those who can provide the right setup.

Keep the soil or moss consistently moist but never waterlogged. The goal is to mimic the damp forest floor; if the substrate dries out completely, the plant will quickly show signs of stress.
