MartinLogan Motion 15i Bookshelf Speaker

The Folded Motion tweeter uses a pleated diaphragm that moves air much faster and with less distortion than a traditional dome. This design provides a wider, more detailed high-frequency response that mimics the clarity of MartinLogan's high-end electrostatic speakers.

While they are designed as bookshelf speakers, they perform best when placed on dedicated speaker stands away from walls. If you must place them on a shelf, ensure there is enough clearance behind the unit for the rear-firing bass port to breathe, otherwise the low-end response may become muddy.

The 5.25-inch aluminum cone woofer is paired with a rear-firing bass port to maximize low-frequency output. While they provide impressive punch for their size, they are bookshelf speakers and may require a dedicated subwoofer if you are looking for deep, room-shaking bass in a large space.

These speakers are efficient and can be driven by most high-quality integrated amplifiers or AV receivers. Look for an amplifier that offers stable power delivery to ensure the Vojtko crossover network can maintain the speaker's signature clarity at higher volumes.

They are excellent for both. Because they offer a wide, detailed soundstage, they work perfectly as front-channel speakers in a home theater or as a high-fidelity stereo pair for critical music listening.
