The mount features built-in infrared sensors that detect when your phone is placed near the cradle. Once detected, the side grips automatically open and then close to secure your device, allowing for true one-handed operation.

The automatic grips are designed to accommodate most standard phone cases. However, extremely thick, rugged, or heavily textured cases may interfere with the infrared sensor's ability to clamp properly or block the wireless charging signal.

The mount supports wireless charging for any smartphone that is Qi-enabled. If your phone does not support wireless charging, it will still function as a secure, adjustable mount, but it will not charge your device.

The suction cup is designed for a strong, secure hold on smooth surfaces like windshields and most non-porous dashboards. It is intended to be removable without leaving permanent residue, though performance on highly textured or soft-touch dashboard materials may vary.

The mount is engineered for stability, utilizing both the telescoping arm and the slide-locking grips to minimize vibration. While it provides a secure hold, ensure the suction cup or vent clip is fully tightened to maintain maximum stability on rough terrain.

The 36-month warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If the automatic clamping mechanism or wireless charging components fail during this period, you are eligible for support or replacement through Bracketron.
