Terra Cotta Watering Bulb

The porous terra-cotta material allows water to seep through the walls of the cone at a slow, steady rate. As the soil around the cone dries out, it naturally pulls moisture from the reservoir, ensuring your plant receives water only when it needs it.

This watering bulb is ideal for most standard potted houseplants that prefer consistent soil moisture. However, it may not be suitable for succulents or cacti, which require periods of completely dry soil to thrive.

The clear glass reservoir makes it easy to monitor the water level at a glance. Simply refill it once you notice the water line is low or empty.

For the best results, we recommend pre-moistening your soil and using your finger or a small tool to create a pilot hole before inserting the cone. This minimizes root disturbance and ensures the cone sits securely in the pot.

While designed primarily for houseplants, it can be used for outdoor containers. Keep in mind that high heat or direct sunlight may cause the water to evaporate or release more quickly than the ten-day estimate.

To keep the terra-cotta porous, gently rinse the cone with warm water and a soft brush every few months. Avoid using harsh soaps or chemicals that could clog the pores or harm your plant.
