While it is optimized for a 20g dose to ensure consistent extraction and puck integrity, you can adjust your dose slightly based on your roast profile. However, staying close to the 20g mark will yield the best results regarding the basket's intended flow and clarity.

The vertical wall design promotes full-side saturation, meaning water flows evenly through the entire coffee puck rather than channeling through the center. This results in a higher extraction yield and noticeably improved clarity in your final cup.

Unlike standard baskets that may flex under high pressure, the Unibasket is forged from a single stainless steel blank. This rigid, 1.2mm thick construction maintains puck integrity throughout the entire extraction process, preventing the bypass that often occurs in thinner, stamped baskets.
