Mid Century Enamel Kettle

This enamel kettle is designed for standard stovetop use. However, because it features a natural wood handle and knob, you should avoid using it on high heat settings or with open flames that could scorch the wood components.

The flaw is a minor cosmetic imperfection in the enamel coating on the lid. It does not affect the kettle's structural integrity or its ability to boil water, but it is a visible sign of its vintage character.

While wood is a poor conductor of heat and generally stays cooler than metal, it can still warm up if the kettle is left on the stove for an extended period. We recommend using a pot holder or kitchen towel when handling the kettle after boiling.

To preserve the finish, hand wash the kettle with mild soap and warm water. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals that could scratch the enamel or damage the wood accents, and always dry it thoroughly after cleaning to prevent rust.
