This cactus thrives in full sun. To maintain its vibrant blue color and healthy growth, place it in a spot that receives at least six to eight hours of direct sunlight daily.

As a drought-tolerant plant, it requires very little water. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, and be especially careful to reduce watering frequency during the cooler winter months.

While the Blue Torch is a fast grower that can reach up to 12 feet in its natural habitat, it grows much more slowly in a container. It will remain manageable indoors for several years, though you may eventually need to move it to a larger pot or a sun-drenched patio as it matures.

The cactus is shipped in a 3.25-inch plastic pot in bare or semi-bare root condition. Upon arrival, we recommend potting it in a well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix to ensure proper root health.
