Yes, the Celeste Pot is crafted from durable, high-quality terracotta, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. However, as with all terracotta, we recommend bringing it indoors or protecting it during extreme freezing temperatures to prevent potential cracking.

The saucer is designed to be flipped over to serve as a sturdy base. When inverted, it elevates the pot, transforming the piece into a sculptural pedestal or a functional side table for your space.

The Celeste Pot features a natural, textured terracotta finish that highlights its artisanal, wheel-thrown construction. It does not have a glossy glaze, preserving the organic, matte aesthetic of the clay.

The Celeste Pot is designed as a standard planter. If you intend to plant directly into the vessel, we recommend checking the base for a drainage hole or using a nursery liner to manage water levels effectively.

To clean the exterior, simply wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as the porous nature of the terracotta may absorb them and potentially affect the health of your plants.
