These are 5-pin PCB mount switches. While they can technically fit into hot-swap sockets, you may need to clip the two plastic guide pins on the bottom if your keyboard PCB only supports 3-pin switches.

The 75g actuation force is significantly heavier than standard linear or tactile switches, which typically sit around 45g to 55g. This switch is designed for users who prefer a deliberate, firm keystroke and want to avoid accidental presses.

Gateron Ink V2 switches are known for being quite smooth out of the box due to the POM stem and proprietary housing material. While you can apply aftermarket lubricant for a slightly deeper sound and smoother feel, it is not strictly necessary for a high-quality experience.

These switches are compatible with single LEDs, but the opaque INK-blend housing will significantly diffuse and dim the light compared to clear-housing switches. They are best suited for boards where you prefer a subtle glow rather than bright, per-key RGB effects.

As a clicky switch, it provides a distinct, audible tactile click with every press. The unique INK-blend housing tends to produce a slightly deeper, more resonant sound profile compared to standard plastic housings.
