The lower thermal mass allows the portafilter to reach your machine's operating temperature faster than traditional brass or steel alternatives. This helps minimize heat absorption from the water during the brew cycle, leading to more consistent and precise temperature profiling.

This portafilter is designed for standard 58mm group heads, including E61, La Marzocco, Slayer, and Decent machines. We also offer a 30-degree offset version specifically for machines like Nuova Simonelli and Victoria Arduino.

The Delrin handle is paired with the lightweight configuration and is fully replaceable, offering a durable, matte finish. The carbon fiber handle is fixed to the ultra-lightweight 85g configuration, providing maximum weight reduction and a distinct aesthetic.

Because of the additive manufacturing process, the surface has a unique, slightly textured finish. We recommend rinsing it with hot water after use and wiping it down with a soft cloth; avoid using harsh abrasive scrubbers or caustic detergents that could damage the aluminum surface.

Yes, the weight reduction is significant compared to standard brass portafilters, which often weigh over 400g. The 85g ultra-lightweight configuration provides a noticeably different tactile experience, making the locking and unlocking process feel much lighter and more agile.
