Large Ombré Capiz Tray

The tray features a lacquer finish over the hand-pieced shells, which creates a smooth, durable surface while still allowing the natural texture and depth of the capiz shells to remain visible underneath.

This tray is designed primarily as a decorative accent piece. While the lacquer finish is high-quality, it is not intended for direct food contact, so we recommend using it to hold coasters, candles, or decorative objects rather than serving food.

The narrow decorative handles are integrated into the design to add visual interest and a touch of structure. While they are sturdy enough to help you reposition the tray on a table or desk, they are not intended for carrying heavy items across a room.

Because each tray is individually crafted and dip-dyed by hand in the Philippines, there will be slight variations in the depth and gradient of the grey ombré effect. This ensures that every piece is unique, though it will closely match the aesthetic shown.

To keep the tray looking its best, simply wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the lacquer finish and the delicate shell inlay.
