The 100% wool felt backing is soft and dense, providing a gentle buffer between the hard poplar wood and your furniture. It effectively prevents scratches and provides enough grip to keep the coaster from sliding on smooth surfaces like glass or polished wood.

With dimensions of 6.0 inches by 4.0 inches, these coasters are larger than standard circular options. They comfortably accommodate most standard mugs and glassware, though the irregular shape is best suited for items with a base diameter of 4 inches or less.

Simply wipe the wood surface with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid submerging them in water or putting them in the dishwasher, as the wood and felt backing are not designed for full immersion.
