Watering Stake

This stake is designed to fit standard 750ml wine bottles. Most glass bottles with a standard neck diameter will work, but avoid using bottles with unusually wide or tapered necks that might prevent a secure fit.

The duration depends on your plant's specific needs, the soil type, and the ambient temperature. Generally, a standard wine bottle will provide consistent hydration for 3 to 7 days, though you should monitor your plant during the first week to gauge the rate of absorption.

Yes, the porous ceramic design is effective in both environments. For outdoor use, keep in mind that higher temperatures and direct sunlight may cause the water to seep faster, so check the reservoir more frequently.

We recommend watering your plant thoroughly first to soften the soil. Gently insert the empty stake into the soil near the base of the plant, then fill your bottle with water and carefully flip it into the stake opening.

Over time, mineral deposits or soil debris can clog the pores of the ceramic. If you notice the water flow has slowed significantly, simply soak the stake in a mixture of water and white vinegar for a few hours to clear the pores and restore performance.
