The globe uses a self-regulating flow system. Once inserted into the soil, the water is released gradually as the soil dries out, ensuring your plant receives consistent moisture without you needing to water it manually.

While the design is durable enough for outdoor use, it is perfectly suitable for indoor potted plants as well. Just ensure the soil is loose enough to accommodate the 4-inch neck without damaging the plant's root system.

Refill frequency depends entirely on the plant's water needs, the soil type, and the ambient temperature. In most cases, you can expect to refill it every few days, but you can easily monitor the water level through the transparent glass to know exactly when it's time.

The globe is made of glass, so it requires careful handling. When inserting it into the soil, it is best to pre-moisten the soil or create a small pilot hole with a pencil or dowel to avoid applying too much pressure to the neck of the globe.

It is possible for soil to enter the neck if the globe is pushed directly into dry, packed dirt. To prevent clogging, we recommend creating a small hole in the soil first or wrapping a small piece of cheesecloth or mesh around the opening before inserting it.
