Reclaimed Laurelwood Stirring Spoon

This spoon is not dishwasher safe. To preserve the wood, hand wash it with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately. We recommend occasionally rubbing it with a food-safe mineral oil to keep the wood hydrated and prevent cracking.

Because each spoon is hand-carved from reclaimed laurelwood, there will be natural variations in grain pattern and color. Your piece will be unique, reflecting the specific character of the wood used by the artisan.

While the design is specifically optimized for tasting and sampling, the 10.25-inch length provides enough reach for stirring in smaller pots or bowls. However, it is best suited for light culinary tasks rather than heavy-duty mixing.

While the laurelwood is durable, it is not designed to be left in a hot pan or exposed to high heat for extended periods. It is best used as a tasting utensil or for gentle stirring during food preparation.
