Vitamix Dry Grains Container

This specific Dry Grains Container is designed exclusively for use with the Vitamix Ascent series blenders. It will not fit or function with Legacy or Explorian series machines.

The blades in this container are specifically angled to push dry ingredients up and away from the blade assembly, creating a 'dry vortex' that effectively grinds grains into flour. Standard wet containers are designed to pull ingredients down, which can cause dry grains to pack around the blades and stall the motor.

While it is technically possible, it is not recommended. The blade configuration is optimized for grinding and kneading, so you won't get the same smooth, emulsified texture for liquids that you would with your standard wet container.

Yes, the container is made from durable, BPA-free plastic and is dishwasher safe. However, for the longest lifespan, we recommend hand washing with warm, soapy water and drying it immediately.

You can grind almost any dry grain, including wheat, oats, rice, and gluten-free options like quinoa or chickpeas. It is also excellent for kneading thick bread or pizza doughs, as the container's design prevents the dough from overheating during the mixing process.
