While the marble is durable, it is a porous natural stone. We recommend avoiding prolonged contact with highly acidic foods or dark liquids like balsamic vinegar or red wine to maintain the pristine finish of the board.

Both pieces should be hand-washed with mild soap and warm water. Avoid soaking the board or putting it in the dishwasher, as the antique goldtone finish and natural marble require gentle care to preserve their luster.

The stainless steel knife is designed for serving and slicing soft to semi-hard cheeses. To protect the marble surface from scratches, we recommend using a separate cutting board for heavy-duty chopping or slicing hard, aged cheeses.

The board features a stable, flat base. Given its substantial weight and construction, it sits securely on most surfaces, though we always recommend placing it on a flat, level table to ensure stability.

Because of its artistic design, many owners prefer to display it on a sideboard or open shelving. If you choose to store it away, wrap the knife in a soft cloth to prevent scratching the goldtone accents and store the board flat to avoid chipping the edges.
