To repurpose the bowl, gently scrape out any remaining wax with a dull spoon and wipe the interior with a paper towel. You can then wash it with warm, soapy water, but avoid soaking the wood to prevent warping or cracking.

The dough bowl is designed specifically for candle use, but as with any candle, you should always place it on a heat-resistant surface. Ensure the wicks are trimmed to 1/4 inch before each burn and never leave the candle unattended.

The three-wick configuration ensures an even melt pool across the wide surface area of the dough bowl. This prevents tunneling and allows the essential oils to release their fragrance more effectively throughout your space.

Because this candle is scented with essential oils rather than synthetic fragrances, it offers a more natural and subtle aroma. However, scent sensitivity is personal, so we recommend burning it in a well-ventilated area to start.

The soy wax is designed to burn cleanly, but some residue may remain on the wood walls after the final burn. Because the vessel is natural pine, it is intended to have a rustic, lived-in aesthetic even after the wax is removed.

For the best performance, burn the candle until the melt pool reaches the edges of the dough bowl, which usually takes about two to three hours. Avoid burning for more than four hours at a time to maintain the integrity of the wicks.
