The marble stopper is designed to sit securely atop the decanter to protect the wine from dust and debris. While it provides a beautiful, elegant seal, it is not intended to be airtight for long-term storage.

To preserve the clarity of the lead-free crystal and the finish of the natural marble, hand-wash both components with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid using a dishwasher, as the high heat and harsh chemicals can damage the glass and the porous surface of the marble.

While specifically designed for wine aeration, the sculptural design makes it a beautiful vessel for serving water, iced tea, or other chilled beverages. Just ensure you hand-wash it thoroughly after each use to prevent any residue buildup.

The wide mouth is engineered for both aeration and a smooth, controlled pour. Because of the decanter's generous size, we recommend holding it firmly by the base or the neck to maintain steady control while pouring.
