Because this vase is made from traditional terracotta, it is primarily intended for decorative use or dried florals. If you choose to use it for fresh flowers, we recommend placing a small glass liner inside to prevent water from seeping through the porous clay.

This piece is not dishwasher safe. To clean, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. If necessary, you can use a slightly damp cloth, but avoid submerging the unglazed terracotta base in water.

Each vase is individually handcrafted and hand-painted in Portugal, meaning there will be subtle variations in the brushstrokes and finish. These unique characteristics are a hallmark of the artisanal process and ensure that your piece is one-of-a-kind.

This vase is designed specifically for indoor use. Exposure to outdoor elements, such as rain or direct sunlight, may damage the terracotta material and the hand-painted finish over time.

The vase features a dual-texture design. The upper portion is finished with a smooth, glazed coating, while the lower base remains in its natural, raw, and slightly matte terracotta state.
