Indego Africa Akeza Plateau

Each plateau comes with an integrated loop on the back, making it easy to hang using a simple nail or hook. It is lightweight enough to be mounted securely with standard wall hardware.

While it is designed primarily as a decorative centerpiece or wall accent, it can certainly hold lightweight items like fruit or decorative objects on a table. Because it is handwoven from natural fibers, it is not suitable for holding liquids or heavy, wet items.

Minimal maintenance is required. Keep the piece out of direct sunlight to prevent the hand-dyed colors from fading over time. If you notice any stray fibers, you can simply trim them with scissors to keep the weave looking neat.

Because each Akeza Plateau is individually handwoven by artisans in Rwanda, slight variations in size, shape, and color are expected. These unique differences are a hallmark of the traditional coil weaving technique and ensure that your piece is one-of-a-kind.

The Akeza Plateau is designed for indoor use only. Exposure to moisture, humidity, or direct outdoor elements can damage the natural sisal and sweetgrass materials.
