Rega Aya Speakers

The fiberglass-reinforced cement (GRC) is specifically engineered for superior resonance control. By minimizing cabinet vibration, it ensures that the sound you hear is defined by the drivers rather than the enclosure itself.

With a footprint of 258 x 215mm, the AYA speakers are relatively compact for floorstanders. Their balanced soundstage and band-pass design allow them to perform well in medium-sized spaces without overwhelming the room.

These speakers are rated for 110W per channel with an impedance of 6 Ω. They are designed to be efficient, but pairing them with a high-quality amplifier will ensure you get the best accuracy and transparency from the handmade drivers.

The ZRR (Zero Rear Reflection) tweeter is a Rega-designed unit that minimizes internal reflections. This results in a clearer, more precise high-frequency response that avoids the harshness sometimes found in standard tweeters.

A 2.5-way design uses the 5-inch mid-bass driver and the 7-inch bass driver to work together in the lower frequencies, while the mid-bass driver also handles the midrange. This configuration provides a seamless transition between frequencies, resulting in deeper bass and a more natural vocal presentation.

The sculptured stand is integrated into the cabinet design to decouple the speaker from the floor. This helps reduce unwanted vibrations and ensures the sound remains clean and focused.
