No, Bee's Wrap should not be used with raw meat or fish. Because the wraps cannot be washed in high-temperature water, they cannot be sanitized sufficiently for raw protein storage.

With proper care and regular use, each wrap will last about one year. Once the wax coating begins to wear down or the wrap no longer holds its shape, you can compost it.

You may notice a faint, natural scent of beeswax and tree resin when you first open the package. This aroma is subtle and generally does not transfer to the food stored inside.

Keep the wraps away from all sources of heat, including microwaves, ovens, dishwashers, and hot food. Heat will cause the beeswax to melt and ruin the wrap's adhesive properties.

The warmth of your hands is the key. Simply fold the wrap around your food or container and hold it in place for a few seconds; the heat from your palms will soften the wax, allowing it to create a secure seal.
