These switches feature an MX-style cross stem, making them compatible with the vast majority of mechanical keyboards that use standard Cherry MX-style sockets. Please ensure your keyboard PCB supports hot-swappable switches or that you are prepared to solder them if your board requires it.

The professional lubrication service involves manually applying a Krytox blend to the springs, stems, and stem legs. This process significantly reduces scratchiness and spring ping, resulting in a much smoother keystroke and a more refined acoustic profile compared to stock switches.

Your choice depends on your preference for typing feel and sound. Linear switches like the Gateron Oil King offer a smooth, consistent press, while tactile options like the Siliworks Type R provide a noticeable bump during actuation. Consider whether you prefer a deeper, 'thocky' sound or a lighter, crisper feel.

A 70-unit pack is typically sufficient for 60% or 65% keyboard layouts, which are common for custom builds. If you are using a full-size, TKL, or 75% layout, you will likely need to purchase additional switches to cover every key.
