Milulu grass is a sturdy, reed-like plant native to Tanzania, widely used for its strength and flexibility in traditional weaving. It creates a rigid, long-lasting structure that holds its shape well, making these baskets excellent for everyday storage.

Because each basket is handwoven by individual artisans, you should expect slight variations in size, pattern, and the exact shade of the auburn dye. These subtle differences are part of the product's character and confirm its authentic, handcrafted origin.

To keep your basket in good condition, simply dust it regularly with a soft, dry cloth or a vacuum brush attachment. Avoid getting the basket wet, as moisture can damage the natural plant fibers and cause the dye to bleed or the structure to warp.

These baskets are best suited for lightweight to medium-weight items like throw blankets, magazines, or toys. While the Milulu reeds are durable, they are not designed to carry heavy loads like books or large tools.

The baskets range from XS to OVSZ, so consider what you plan to store. The smaller sizes are perfect for desktop organization or small accessories, while the larger sizes are better suited for floor storage, such as holding extra pillows or linens.
