Bee's Wax Wrap

The warmth of your hands is the key. Simply hold the wrap against the bowl or food item for a few seconds; the heat softens the beeswax, allowing it to mold and create a secure, breathable seal as it cools.

It is generally recommended to avoid using beeswax wraps for raw meat or fish, as the wrap cannot be washed in hot water or sanitized in a dishwasher. Stick to using it for produce, bread, cheese, or covering bowls of leftovers.

Wash the wrap by hand using cool water and a mild dish soap. Avoid hot water, as it will melt the wax coating, and always let it air dry completely before folding it for storage.

Once the wrap loses its tackiness and reaches the end of its life, you can simply toss it in your home compost bin. Because it is made from natural materials, it is fully biodegradable.

You may notice a very faint, pleasant scent of beeswax when you first use the wrap, but it will not transfer any flavor or odor to your food. It is a food-safe, natural way to keep your items fresh.
