Spinlock Wing PFD

The Wing PFD is designed primarily for high-agility water sports like dinghy sailing, keelboat racing, and RIB use. It provides 50N of buoyancy, which is intended for competent swimmers in sheltered waters, rather than offshore or open ocean conditions where higher buoyancy ratings are typically required.

This PFD is engineered for a very snug, low-profile fit. It features a tapered high-cut design to maximize mobility and reduce resistance, so it will feel much tighter and more streamlined than a traditional, bulky foam life jacket.

The side zip is designed to keep the front of the PFD clean and snag-free, which is essential for active water sports. While it may require a slightly different technique than a front-zip jacket, the side entry is intuitive and helps maintain the jacket's low-profile, secure fit.

Spinlock uses dry-coated elastic side panels specifically to minimize water absorption. This helps the PFD stay lightweight and comfortable even after you have been in the water.

The internal 'GRIP' print is a functional detail designed to keep the PFD from riding up your torso while you are moving. It helps ensure the jacket stays securely in place during high-intensity maneuvers.

The PFD includes a stretch mesh outer pocket with an internal security pocket. While it is great for small essentials, keep in mind that these pockets are not waterproof, so you should use a dedicated waterproof pouch for electronics.
