Titanium is significantly more durable and rigid than aluminum foil. While foil windscreens often crinkle, tear, or blow away, this titanium version holds its shape in gusty conditions and will last for years of heavy use without needing replacement.

The windscreen measures 22.875 inches in length, which is designed to comfortably encircle most standard backpacking pots. It is flexible enough to adjust the diameter slightly, making it compatible with a wide range of pot sizes.

This windscreen is primarily designed for alcohol, wood-burning, and solid-fuel stoves. You should avoid using it with canister-mounted stoves, as the windscreen can trap heat around the fuel canister, creating a significant safety hazard.

Because the titanium is extremely thin to save weight, the edges can be sharp. We recommend handling it carefully during setup and breakdown, or wearing light gloves if you find the edges uncomfortable to touch.
