These blades are specifically designed for John Deere L100 through L118 models equipped with a 42-inch deck. Please verify that your mower uses a non-star, round center hole mounting pattern before purchasing.

The Gator Mulcher design is engineered to create fine clippings on its own, so you do not necessarily need a separate mulching kit. However, for the best results, ensure your mower deck is clear of debris and that you are cutting at the appropriate height for your grass type.

Unlike standard flat blades, these feature a specialized Gator Mulcher tooth design that shreds grass and leaves into finer particles. They are also crafted from austemper heat-treated steel, which provides superior durability and longevity, especially in sandy soil conditions.

While these blades are optimized for mulching, they feature a high-lift design that can also be used for bagging. Keep in mind that because they shred clippings so finely, you may find that you no longer need to bag as often.
