The Ultra Circuit is designed to comfortably carry a total pack weight of up to 35 pounds. While it excels at handling loads around 30 pounds, exceeding the 35-pound limit may compromise the suspension system's comfort and support.

The pack is constructed from Challenge ULTRA 400X and 200X fabrics, which are significantly more durable and abrasion-resistant than standard nylon while remaining exceptionally lightweight. This material provides a high strength-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for the rigors of long-distance thru-hiking.

While the ULTRA fabric itself is waterproof, the pack is not considered fully submersible because of the seams and roll-top closure. We recommend using a pack liner or dry bags for your sensitive gear to ensure complete protection during heavy, sustained rain.

Yes, the 2024 update includes new ice axe and trekking pole loops, along with low-profile loops designed for optional external straps. These features allow you to secure bulky items like sleeping pads or trekking poles to the exterior without sacrificing internal space.

The roll-top closure offers excellent flexibility, allowing you to compress the pack when carrying a smaller load or extend it to accommodate extra food and gear.
