The High Route does not include trekking poles. It is designed to be supported by your own adjustable trekking poles, which are required to pitch the shelter.

Yes, the shelter features a modular design. You can set up the tarp alone for a lightweight rain shelter, or use the bug nest independently on clear, buggy nights for better star gazing and airflow.

It has a straightforward pitch, but it does require a bit of practice to get the tension right. Once you understand how to guy out the corners and adjust your pole height, it becomes very quick and intuitive.

The design is excellent for ventilation. It features five-inch awning vents and side doors that can be guyed out, allowing you to keep airflow moving even when the rainfly is fully closed to keep the elements out.

The floor has a 1200mm waterproof rating, which is standard for ultralight shelters. While it will handle damp ground effectively, using a ground sheet or footprint is recommended to protect the 15D nylon floor from abrasion and punctures.

Not at all. The High Route is specifically designed with vertical walls to maximize interior volume. With a 48-inch peak height and 36 square feet of floor space, it feels much more open and spacious than many other one-person ultralight tents.
