The chair is crafted from untreated Western Red Cedar. While the wood is naturally resistant to rot and decay, you may choose to apply a stain or sealant if you wish to maintain its original color or provide extra protection against the elements.

The chair arrives unassembled and requires some effort to put together. Because the parts are handcrafted for a snug fit, we recommend having a basic set of tools ready and following the included instructions carefully to ensure the structure is stable.

The seat height is 14 inches, which is standard for traditional Adirondack chairs. It offers a relaxed, low-profile seating position, though those with mobility concerns may find it slightly more challenging to stand up from compared to a standard dining chair.

Western Red Cedar is naturally durable and weather-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor use. However, to extend the life of the wood and keep it looking its best, we recommend covering it or storing it in a shed or garage during harsh winter months.

The chair measures 36 inches wide by 36 inches deep. You should account for a little extra clearance around the chair to ensure you can comfortably sit down and stand up without feeling cramped.
