The pergola is a freestanding structure that should be installed on a level, solid surface such as a concrete patio or a reinforced wood deck. It is important to ensure your chosen site is level to maintain the structural integrity and alignment of the pre-drilled components.

The included sunshade is designed to be removable, allowing you to adjust the amount of light and shade based on your preference or the season. It is made from a PVC-coated, breathable wicking fabric that provides protection while remaining durable in outdoor conditions.

The kit arrives pre-cut, pre-drilled, and pre-finished, which significantly simplifies the process. While the installation is considered moderate in difficulty, we recommend having at least two people for assembly to safely handle the larger components.

The pergola comes finished in a timber gray stain, which provides initial protection for the natural cedar. To maintain the appearance and longevity of the wood, you should periodically inspect the structure and re-apply a wood stain or sealant as needed based on your local climate.
