Aeropress Filter

Because paper filters trap most of the coffee's natural oils, they produce a very clean, light-bodied cup. This stainless steel filter allows those oils to pass through into your mug, resulting in a richer, fuller-bodied texture and a more robust flavor profile.

It is designed to fit both the AeroPress Original and the AeroPress Go. It is not compatible with the AeroPress XL.

You may notice a small amount of fine sediment at the bottom of your cup, which is typical when using metal filtration. If you prefer a completely sediment-free cup, you can use a slightly coarser grind size to minimize fines passing through the mesh.

Cleaning is straightforward. You can simply rinse the filter under warm water immediately after brewing, or place it in the dishwasher for a deeper clean. Because it is made from durable 316 stainless steel, it will not rust or degrade over time.

No, the process remains the same as using a paper filter. However, because metal filters offer less resistance than paper, you might find that the plunger moves down slightly faster. Just apply gentle, steady pressure as usual.
