Because these rolls feature straight edges rather than interlocking teeth, you can butt them directly against one another for a clean, continuous surface. For a permanent installation, we recommend using double-sided carpet tape or a specialized rubber flooring adhesive to secure the edges to your subfloor.

At 8mm thick, this rubber provides a solid layer of protection against standard impacts, vibrations, and noise. While it is excellent for general weightlifting and cardio equipment, if you frequently perform heavy Olympic lifts or deadlifts, you may want to consider placing additional crash pads or thicker lifting platforms over the flooring.

We do not recommend installing this flooring directly over carpet. The soft, unstable nature of carpet padding will cause the rubber to shift and buckle under the weight of your equipment, which can lead to uneven surfaces and potential tripping hazards.

The non-slip, stain-resistant surface is very low maintenance. For regular cleaning, simply sweep or vacuum up debris, then mop with a mild soap and water solution; avoid harsh chemicals or oil-based cleaners, as these can degrade the rubber over time.

Like most vulcanized rubber products, there may be a noticeable rubber scent when you first unroll the flooring. This is normal and typically dissipates within a few days if you allow the room to ventilate properly.
