This unit has been verified as fully operational. As a pre-owned item, you may notice minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal use, but the mechanical functions, including both speed settings and the heating element, are in good working order.

The HWM705 is designed for medium-sized rooms. Its 1-gallon tank and warm mist output are optimized for standard bedrooms or home offices, providing consistent humidity without overwhelming smaller spaces.

At 10 dB, this humidifier is exceptionally quiet—roughly equivalent to the sound of breathing or rustling leaves. It is an excellent choice for light sleepers or for use in a quiet workspace where you need to avoid distractions.

This warm mist humidifier does not require a traditional wicking filter, which simplifies maintenance. However, because it boils water to create mist, you should periodically clean the heating element to prevent mineral buildup, especially if you have hard water.

Runtime depends on the speed setting you choose. On the lower setting, you can expect the tank to last through the night, while the high setting will provide a more robust mist but will require a refill sooner.
