Because this is the hardest model in the Kamenoko Tawashi range, it is quite firm. If you have sensitive skin, you may find it too abrasive for direct use on the body; it is better suited for those who prefer a vigorous, deep exfoliation.

After each use, rinse the brush thoroughly with warm water to remove any soap or skin cells. Shake off the excess water and hang it by its attached rope in a well-ventilated area to air dry completely, which prevents mold and keeps the fibers hygienic.

We do not recommend using this specific model on your face. The natural palm fibers are designed for the thicker skin on your body and are likely too coarse for delicate facial tissue.

While the palm fibers will become slightly more pliable after repeated exposure to water, they will retain their characteristic stiffness. This durability is intentional, ensuring the brush remains effective for exfoliation over its long lifespan.

This brush is designed to be used wet, ideally with your favorite body wash or soap. The fibers work best when dampened, as they become slightly more flexible and easier to maneuver across the skin.
