Dyneema is significantly lighter, stronger, and more resistant to abrasion and cuts than nylon. It also absorbs almost no water, which keeps the sling from freezing or becoming heavy in wet conditions.

Dyneema has a lower melting point than nylon, making it more susceptible to damage from friction heat. It also has very little stretch, so it is not suitable for use in situations where you need to absorb shock loads, such as building an anchor that might be subjected to a fall.

Wash them by hand in lukewarm water with a mild, non-detergent soap. Rinse thoroughly and let them air dry completely in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight, as UV exposure can degrade the fibers over time.
