Busboard Prototype Systems KIT-BB1660+SB1660

The kit includes both a solderless breadboard and a matching solderable PCB that share the exact same hole pattern and dimensions. This allows you to prototype your circuit on the breadboard and then solder the components onto the PCB in the same physical configuration without needing to redesign your layout.

The breadboard is designed to work with standard solid-core jumper wires ranging from 21 to 26 AWG. Using wires within this range ensures a secure connection and prevents damage to the internal phosphor bronze contacts.

This kit is rated for a maximum of 36V and 2A. It is well-suited for most low-voltage embedded systems and logic circuits, but it should not be used for high-power applications that exceed these electrical limits.

The contacts are made from nickel-plated phosphor bronze and are rated for over 50,000 insertions. This high-reliability construction ensures that the board maintains a solid connection even after repeated component changes during the development process.

The solderable PCB is designed for flexibility and can be mounted using the included self-adhesive backing or via panel mounting. The standard 0.1-inch grid spacing also makes it compatible with most common enclosures and mounting standoffs.

The kit features 8 independent power rails. This gives you the flexibility to manage multiple voltage levels or separate power domains across your circuit without having to bridge connections manually.
