Slime Schrader Valve Tube

This tube is designed for Schrader valves, which are the wider, car-style valves commonly found on mountain bikes, hybrids, and many kids' bikes. Before purchasing, verify that your current tube uses a Schrader valve and matches the specific diameter and width of your tire.

The tube comes pre-filled with a liquid sealant. When a puncture occurs, the escaping air forces the sealant into the hole, where it instantly clots to plug the leak and prevent air from escaping, allowing you to keep riding without stopping to change the tube.

The sealant is designed to remain effective for up to two years. After that period, the sealant may dry out or lose its effectiveness, at which point you would typically replace the tube rather than refilling it.

No. The Slime sealant is specifically engineered to seal tread area punctures up to 3mm (1/8 inch) in size. It cannot repair large gashes, sidewall tears, or damage to the valve stem.

While the sealant is liquid, it is non-toxic and water-soluble. If you do need to remove the tube or clean your rim, the residue washes away easily with water.
