Continental Tubeless-Ready Set

This kit is designed to convert standard wheels to a tubeless setup, but compatibility depends on your rim profile and tire type. Ensure your rims are tubeless-ready or compatible and that you are using tubeless-specific tires for a safe and reliable seal.

The kit includes 5 meters of rim tape, which is generally sufficient to cover two standard 29-inch wheels. Always measure your rim circumference before application to ensure you have enough length for a proper overlap.

A 40mm valve length is standard for most mountain bike and gravel rims. If you have deep-section aero rims, these valves may be too short, so check your rim depth before purchasing.

The kit includes tire levers and cleaning cloths, which cover the essentials. You will only need a floor pump or an air compressor to seat the tire beads once the setup is installed.

While the 240ml of sealant provided is enough for initial setup, sealant eventually dries out inside the tire. It is best practice to check and top up your sealant every 3 to 6 months, depending on your local climate and riding frequency.

Proper surface preparation is critical for a tubeless conversion. The cleaning cloths are used to remove any grease, residue, or debris from the rim bed, ensuring the rim tape adheres securely and creates an airtight seal.
