Kona Ouroboros

The Fox TC32 fork significantly reduces fatigue on rough terrain by absorbing high-frequency vibrations and bigger trail impacts. It makes the bike feel much more composed on technical singletrack without sacrificing the efficiency you expect on smoother gravel roads.

It is designed to handle both, but it leans toward the aggressive side of the spectrum. If your rides frequently mix fire roads with rocky, technical trails, this bike will feel more capable and stable than a traditional, race-focused gravel bike.

The dropper post allows you to lower your center of gravity instantly for steep, technical descents or tricky corners. It transforms the bike's handling, giving you more room to maneuver and confidence on terrain that would be sketchy on a standard fixed seatpost.

While larger than the standard 160mm rotors found on many gravel bikes, the 180mm setup provides superior heat management and stopping power. This is a deliberate choice to ensure you have consistent, reliable braking performance on long, steep descents, especially when carrying gear.

The bike features a SRAM 11-50t cassette, which provides a very wide gear range. This setup is specifically chosen to help you spin up steep, loose climbs that would otherwise require you to hike-a-bike.

The Ouroboros is built with generous tire clearance in mind to accommodate varied, rugged terrain. While the stock setup is versatile, the frame geometry is designed to handle wider rubber, allowing you to tune your grip and comfort based on your local trails.
